These days everyone knows what paid surveys are about - companies need consumers opinions so that they can improve their products or services, or gauge possible consumer response to new products. Therefore they are willing to pay ordinary people for their opinion.

However, it's not quite as easy as that. How does one go about finding these paid surveys? Generally, the easiest way is to join a paid survey site - a database of companies looking for people to fill out surveys. Pay a small one-time membership fee and you can get started pretty much straight away.

But what about all these paid survey scams on the internet? There are a lot of scam sites out there and I've tried many sites, both scam and legitimate. It's important to be vigilant when looking for a site to join. I recently tried out the new survey site Make Money Taking Surveys as I'd heard a few good reviews about it. This article will be discussing my findings and my experience with this site.

First of all you sign up for Make Money Taking Surveys by paying a minimal membership fee. I don't mind paying that as long as I can earn it back within a day or two. They then collect your profile and then you will be able to take surveys that are suitable for you. Make Money Taking Surveys is different to many others in that it pays cash - too many survey sites reward you with prizes, vouchers or entry into draws. These can be okay, but not if earning extra money is your goal.

The amount of money you can earn depends on the amount of time you put in - the number or surveys you fill out and their types. Surveys that take longer will pay more, although shorter surveys can pay quite well too. Most surveys will earn you between $5 and $75 and you could easily earn $100 a day.

You don't need any technical skills or experience to use this survey site and there are no risks involved. Depending on how much you put into this, paid surveys with Make Money Taking Surveys could help contribute towards your financial security and more.

I make $$$ every day with Money Taking Surveys - the first legitimate survey site that I've found.
Read my review and find out how you can get 50% OFF for a limited time.

Article Source: http://EzineArticles.com/?expert=Callie_Benton
Tags - makemoneytakingsurveys.org , makemoneytakingsurveys-scam , makemoneytakingsurveys-review , www.makemoneytakingsurveys.org , make-money-taking-surveys

Is it really possible to fill surveys online and get paid cash for it? One such website that I encountered online which claimed to be able to help you do this is the Make Money Taking Surveys site. I decided to explore this opportunity further by joining the site, and I will be talking about my overall experience with paid surveys in this article.

1. How Do Money Making Surveys Work?

This business opportunity exists because there are companies who are willing to pay people for their opinions on their products and services. These companies need to find out consumers' likely response to any promotions or products that they may be coming up with, and they will seek out other sites that help them find people to fill surveys.

2. How Do You Starting Earning Cash With Paid Surveys?

When you join a site like Make Money Taking Surveys, they will collect your profile, and then you will be able to take the surveys that are suitable for you. Your survey will then be submitted back to the company. After it has been processed, they will send a check to your mail.

3. How Much Money Can You Earn With Paid Surveys?

The amount of money that can be earned by every person differs, and it depends on the number of surveys filled and their types. A longer survey or one that has more open-ended questions (those that will take more of your time) will usually pay more. However, I have personally filled out some short surveys that pay good money too, so it is unclear exactly how companies value their surveys. It seems to depend more on the company that is offering the surveys. A typical survey should earn you around $5 to $75 each.

4. Conclusion

If you are looking to join a paid survey site, you should always look for real testimonials of people who are already successfully doing it with the site you are going to join. Some of these sites are well known to be scams who give their customers nothing in return for joining them.

Is Make Money Taking Surveys a scam? I have personally tried many make money online schemes on the internet, from selling advertisements to affiliate marketing. Most of them require some computer and HTML skills to get started, but one of my income streams today that does not require any prior knowledge is paid surveys.

1. Is It Really Possible To Create an Online Stream with Paid Surveys

There are many thousands of surveys being created every day by companies, and they are seeking people to help them complete. With the power of the internet, survey companies can easily reach the public much more quickly and affordable. This is the reason why it is possible for companies to pay people to take their surveys online, since they no longer need to pay employees to distribute the surveys at shopping malls.

Survey companies have been reported to pay out millions of dollars every year, with over 100s of companies needing people to fill out their surveys every day.

2. How Does Making Money With Surveys Work?

Companies need people to evaluate their products and services, so that they can seek ways to improve or get rid of their flaws. There is no faster ways to do this than with paid surveys. Each survey will usually be targeted at a specific group of people (eg. males only surveys for men products).

3. What Are The Steps To Start Making Money with Surveys Online?

The fastest way is to sign up with a survey site. These are sites have hundreds and thousands of companies that look for people to take their surveys. Making money with surveys is really a numbers, and the more companies that you have access to, the higher the chances that you will receive a good number of surveys every day. If you want to join the survey site that I use to make consistent money with surveys, check out the website link below.

Is Make Money Taking Surveys site a scam?

Do you want to learn whether a person can really make money taking surveys online? I am here to tell you that, yes this is certainly a legitimate way to earn money on the internet, as I have experienced receiving paychecks from survey websites myself. What I need to do is to give my honest opinions to the questions asked by the companies, and I get paid because the companies eventually benefit hugely from my opinions.

1. How Much Money Can A Person Taking Surveys Make?

The average survey pays me about $20 each, but I have had surveys paying me up to $50 each before. It entirely depends on the length of the questionnaire and the type of questions asked. If there are more open ended questions instead of 'yes or no' questions, you can expect to get paid more for it.

2. Who Would Want To Pay You To Take Surveys?

There are many big companies with advertising budget who are using paid surveys as a form of market research. Because of the widespread of internet technology today, companies no longer need to send out representatives to conduct surveys in shopping malls. Nowadays, surveys are sent to contacts through email, which eliminates a lot of costs for the company.

3. My Experience with Make Money Taking Surveys Site

Having tried many survey sites, I would say that most sites really give you for what you pay for. My first experiences were with free survey sites, but their compensation was in the form of sweepstakes which I never won any. I then joined a paid survey site and started to receive surveys that paid me every time I completed one of them.

If you plan to get serious with this business, I would highly recommend you to sign up for a new and separate email account for this purpose. When the survey sites start sending you a lot of email, they can get lost quite easily if you receive them straight to your personal email account.

4. Conclusion

Making money with surveys is possible but not an easy business by any means. You still get paid for each survey you do, so your salary depends entirely on the number of surveys you complete. If you treat it like a real business and dedicate time to work it every day, you can start earning a decent income from home easily.

Is Make Money Taking Surveys a scam? Did you know that about 98 percent of newbies trying to make money on the internet fail. They lose hundreds of dollars every day. There are very few legit ways to earn a living online. Unless you are an Adwords guru then the odds of you making money online are very slim to none.

Of course there are a few legit ways to make money online. All of these require al ot of determination and most likely a good deal of luck. Ebay, Adsense, Adwords, MLM, creating your own website, and blog advertising are a lot of good ways to make a living online. The catch is that with each of them there is an extensive amount of learning involved. If you don't have the time or money for all of that learning and you are looking for a full proof, straight forward way to earn money online then you are left with paid surveys.

I'm sure that everyone has heard of paid surveys. You might have even tried them. There are a lot of scams in this field as well. You really have to know what you are looking for. Some companies claim you will make $5-$75 per survey after you have paid your one time registration fee. The truth is it will take a you a lot more time than you can afford to make any kind of decent money from those sites.

However, there are legit paid survey sites out there. Very organized sites that send you real u real surveys that actually earn you real money. I won't go into all of them here but I wanted to let you know about the one paid survey site that I believe is miles above the rest.

Paid Surveys Etc has been rated the top paid surveys site on the internet for a while now. I've never came across anything quite like it. It has thousands of members and is constantly updated.

Why is it one of the better paid survey sites? The members get access to a constantly updated database of thousands of companies that pay cash upon completion. They also show you companies which pay you to test drive new cars, eat at different places and read emails, among other things! What separates Paid Surveys Etc from the rest is their ability to keep their database constantly updated with the best survey offers on the net.

So What's the catch?

Paid Surveys Etc charges a one time fee to all of it's members. The fee isn't much and they are so confident that you'll love the program that they offer a 60 day trial period. This really is a no brainer. If you have been looking for a simple, straight forward way to make some extra money online then you really should check it out.

Michael Bowler Makes A full Time Income Taking Surveys From Home. Paid Surveys Etc are a company that offer you a huge range of surveys to fill out, and focus groups to attend in your spare time to earn some extra cash from home. Let us start by saying there is a lot of skepticism about whether these companies actually live up to their word or not and this puts a lot of people off buying into these opportunities. From experience a lot of them don't so much lie on their sales pages, but certainly hype their product up to be a lot more than it actually is. Let's see how this package compares!

So how does it work?

Well, you sign up with the Company (Paid Surveys Etc) in our case, and in your profile area you will fill in some basic information about yourself including your hobbies and interests so the company can get to know a little bit about what kind of person you are. When an appropriate survey or focus group needs to be completed you will receive an email telling you that you are invited to participate. In the email they also offer the reward you will be receiving for taking part.

We are now going to tell you some information that they don't. As we said earlier there is a lot of skepticism over these kind of companies living up to their reputation. What we will say is that this company is by far the best survey company we have come across yet but just like the rest they do claim you can make a lot more money than in reality.

There certainly is a flood of surveys to keep you busy all day if thats what you would like to do but we found that the average survey rewards (that were sent to us anyway) were between $5 - $15. Not the $20-$45 that they claim. Each survey on average takes about 10 minutes to do.

Realistically if you give an hour of your time a day to complete 5 surveys with a reward being at $7 lets say, you will be expecting just over $1000 a month. So this is by no means a business opportunity that can earn you a life changing income but if you have the time and patience to do a few surveys a day, $1000 sounds pretty good! This really is the perfect chance for all you mums that stay at home to earn some extra money.

As far as a recommendation goes, if you don't want to bother learning all about internet marketing and you haven't got the time or patience to learn a package such as the Average Joe Income Package to bring in the money online. Then Paid Surveys Etc. is the perfect way to earn some extra money at home straight away, hassle free. We hope that this Paid Survey Etc. Review has been of some help to you.

To learn more about Paid Surveys Etc. visit http://www.only-honest-reviews.com/paidsurveysetc.review.html

Part of the team over at
Tags - paidsurveysetc , paid , surveys , etc , paidsurveyetc , review , paid surveys etc , paid surveys etc review

I've always wanted to know whether or not they could bring you the kind of wealth they promise on their websites. However, all of the scams that are out there these days have made me a bit gun shy jumping in with companies such as paid surveys etc. I've always wanted a job where I could just sit at home and be paid for my opinion. It just seemed like every time I was ready to take a shot I would come across another review about how all paid survey opportunities were scams. I was warned that all of these so called paid survey sites offered you hardly anything in return for your sign up fee. Leaving with your money and not making you a dime.

I put it off as long as I could but with gas prices rising and jobs at an all time low I had to give it a shot. I was very nervous about various scams that I had seen on the internet and on tv. I had no idea what to expect as I was just jumping right in. I did my homework with about 2 weeks worth of research. I wanted to find the right website that would give me the largest database of paid surveys. The reason for this is because the more surveys you take the better your return. In the end I decided on paid surveys etc. They had quite a bit of credibility with people that have purchased a membership through their website. Paid surveys etc. was also the most popular researched paid survey site on the internet. I figured if everyone else was signing up with them then I shouldn't really stand out in the crowd.

Paid surveys etc. gave me access to a huge database of companies to sign up with. I'm sure you can see the potential of a very nice paycheck. If you need proof that there is success with paid surveys etc you can go to their website which offers various testimonials from satisfied customers.

You will probably not get rich taking paid surveys with paid surveys etc. However, it is a very nice side income. It is important to sign up at several paid survey websites

Your earnings will be slow and sporadic if you sign up with just a few. For instance if you sign up with 7-8 paid survey sites, chances are that you may take 6 months to make a $100. Your earning power is directly related to the number of the sites you register with because the more you participate the more you accumulate in cash or prizes.

Many successful users of the online surveys who make good money every month claim to have signed up with 200 plus sites.

While there are no norms, a good rule of thumb would be to register at least 50 paid survey sites and market research firms to start with. Your enthusiasm will grow when you see the money trickle in. Then, ride on this enthusiasm to increase the number of sites over time to 100 and then eventually edge closer to 200 using a combination of paid sites and sites that offer other useful incentives

This gives you the potential to make money in the range of a few hundred dollars on average in a month depending on the kind of sites you register with.

To register click on the ‘sign up’ button provided on the survey site and you will be taken to the online registration form where you have to fill in your address, email id, and the profile details that they want from you.

Initially you will receive a welcome email message.

Sample: Welcome message post registration from an online market research firm

Hello Member,

Congratulations! You have signed up and successfully completed the registration
process and we are happy to have you on board as member of….……………….

From time to time we will send you an email invitation to participate in our online
surveys. Based on the profile information that you gave at the time of registration,
we will identify you for certain surveys where your opinion is vital for our clients.
When your profile matches the requirements of a survey in terms of age, occupation,
education, etc, you will receive an invitation to participate in the online survey.

For some surveys you will have to first take a screening questionnaire that further
checks your suitability for that survey. When you take this screening questionnaire
you will automatically be entered into a monthly drawing where 10 cash awards of
$50 each are given away every month!

If you satisfy the criteria of the screening questionnaire you will be taken to the main
questionnaire and when you complete it you stand to get anywhere from $10-$50
depending on the type of survey and the duration/length of the questionnaire.

We look forward to your participation in our surveys and to serve you better we invite
you to visit our website and make use of the information resource and links created
for your benefit.

Thank you for taking the time out to register with us.

Sincerely,

Within days you will receive an email that a survey is waiting. This is an invitation to visit a specific area (you have to click on a URL that is provided) on the site to participate in the survey.

This invitation will also explain the money or other form of incentive that you will be eligible were when you complete the survey.

Sample: Invitation to participate in an online survey

Dear Member,

We have a new survey for you at our Web Site. It’s waiting for you right now. Click
on your personalized URL created for this survey and given at the bottom of this
message and you will be taken directly to the survey. Follow the instructions and
complete the survey. When you complete the survey you will be entitled to $25
which will be sent to your pay pal account.

Dear Member,

We sincerely appreciate your involvement in the SurveySavvy* community. Thanks to
consumers like you, manufacturers can continue to provide you with products and services
tailored specifically to your needs. SurveySavvy* invites you to continue your contributions
to this process by participating in an online survey. We will keep your responses in the
strictest confidence, and they will be used for research purposes only.

If you qualify for and complete this survey, your account will be credited 20 dollars within
two weeks. Intelligence adds up!

*NOTE: Each survey has quotas and some will fill faster than others. The sooner you take
the survey, the better chance you have of being able to complete it and get paid. If for any
reason you do not qualify, you will be entered in our monthly drawing consisting of 50 prizes
of $10.

Surveys are not posted online where anyone can access them. Only invited member will receive the email invitation.

They use the information that you provide during registration such as age, gender, occupation, and your geographic location, to see if you match the criteria set for a particular survey they have on hand. This matching of member profile and survey criteria is done for each and every survey that they will be handling.

Click on the URL provided in the email. You will be taken through the survey.

Answer the screening questionnaire (if any) provided there

The screening questionnaire is a short questionnaire developed to help the survey company quickly evaluate your suitability for a particular project.

It basically helps them find the right fit for the information they seek. It could be a certain expertise or experience that they are looking for-

Let’s say a market research firm or a company wants the opinion of professionals involved in decisions pertaining to purchasing office equipment or computers. If you are currently not a decision maker for such purchases in your company then you may not be suitable for that particular survey even though demographically you fit the survey criteria in terms of education, occupation or geographic location

Or the survey could pertain to anti-aging cosmetic usage and wants to gain insights into the experience of those who have used such products. Even if you fall into the relevant age bracket, if you’ve never tried an anti-aging product, then you are a useless respondent for that particular survey.

In other words, your product usage pattern or area of expertise has to match the objectives of that particular survey. That’s the purpose of the screening questionnaire.

Complete the screening survey and click the SUBMIT button provided at the end of it.

If you meet their criteria then you will be asked to move to the next level which is the actual SURVEY. Otherwise, you have to terminate at that stage.

Complete the survey and click the SUBMIT button provided at the end of it.

And then just wait for the goodies (your cash or incentives) to arrive!

But keep tabs on who owes you what by keeping a record of all those emails or online messages, which state that you qualify for a certain amount of dollars for completing the survey. Keep the message saved in a folder on your computer or in your email account storage folder.

It cannot be stressed enough that there are companies out there who genuinely need consumer opinion on a range of issues and are willing to compensate you for the effort put in and you have to therefore be sincere in your answers.

Given next is an interesting testimonial and it amply demonstrates that online surveys do represent a money-making opportunity from the very comfort of your home.

For more information on paid surveys, please visit:
http://CBHelper.net/PaidSurveyEtc

Tags - register , survey , paidsurvey

Here let's study step by step the minute details of how exactly to go about finding,
registering, answering and getting paid through online surveys.

The steps

Make sure you have access to the internet on a regular basis- preferably at home

Use a search engine and type your search phrase as 'online surveys'

Observe what your search engine throws up. • Companies find the internet a quicker way to gather information

• The collection of information or opinions takes place in an impersonal way,
no direct contact

• It’s entirely voluntary- no one needs to persuade a person to answer the
survey. The respondent is the boss, you decide if you want to participate
or not. People come on board of their own free will.

• The company does not have to take the risk of sending unsolicited mail.
They only contact those who show an interest in being a part of the online
survey process.

• A respondent does the survey in his or her spare time, so it’s not an
intrusion into a busy schedule

• No leg-work for the researchers; No getting doors banged in their face!

• People choose the time of day suitable for them to sit down quietly and fill
in the survey

• Unbiased replies - no need to impress the interviewer, the respondent has
no watching eyes on him or her. The person can be honest about his
views or product usage patterns

The converse is also true. The respondent- that is you, the person who participates
in the online surveys also benefits from the ‘bare minimum fuss’ of online surveys.

You choose the time, the place and how much time you will spend on a survey. No
one is breathing down your neck. All you will get is a reminder that a survey is
waiting and that's in case you don't respond within 3-5 days of receiving an
invitation. But the choice to do so or not rests entirely with you. As far as focus groups go, the online discussion circumvents the need to travel to an outside
location in order to participate.

With this introduction we’ve discussed threadbare the concept of online surveys, the
need for online surveys and the benefits to both the respondent and the companies.
Let's now move on to the actual process of taking part in surveys.

For more information on paid surveys, please visit:
http://CBHelper.net/PaidSurveyEtc

Tags - survey

Do companies get more out this than you do? By Coara Andrei

Actually it’s all pretty fair and square. The companies pick up the information they
need with the bare minimum fuss from qualified respondents and the respondent
gets something in return for taking the time out to focus on the survey and give an
opinion or information.

Let’s face it, if the internet had not been discovered, this wonderful revenue stream
would not have been available to scores of people out there who are today making
some quick money in the comfort of their homes. And, the corporate world would
have to make do with face-to-face interviews, phone interviews and direct mail
questionnaires.

For more information on paid surveys, please visit:
http://CBHelper.net/PaidSurveyEtc

Tags - companies , survey

Meeting the survey criteria By Coara Andrei

When online surveys accept your registration, and take your demographic details, and then send you an invitation to an online survey, it means you meet their criteria as far as consumer profile goes. They may further test your suitability for a particular survey with a screening questionnaire (explained earlier in this section).

If you don’t meet the criteria at a certain site or for a particular survey don’t get disheartened. It doesn’t mean anything derogatory. It just means that your profile does not match their survey criteria. For instance, some surveys are targeted at those who have corporate experience or an understanding of the financial markets to seek out opinions on the economy or political climate in the country. If you don’t fit the bill, then no sweat! Look for another survey.

The main differentiator is of course your profile-

For instance, Homemakers are the market for household products to understand what
they look for in a product, Young adults in the upper income category are relevant for fast cars and expensive car accessories; College kids come into the picture for opinions on entertainment products like audio systems,

Working professionals are sought for specific expertise. For instance, Physicians Advisory Council® has paid online opinion surveys and discussions in which physicians participate.

For the companies the key lies in finding those whose opinion matters for a particular product category and in a particular subject area. If you don’t fit in, it just means that your opinion would skew the results since the rest of respondents fit into a particular profile and you don’t.

For more information on paid surveys, please visit:
http://CBHelper.net/PaidSurveyEtc

Tags - paid , survey , criteria

Types of surveys By Coara Andrei

• Those that want an opinion – your views on a particular issue, let’s say
the ‘state of the economy’

• Those that want information - on your usage of products or on your
lifestyle. For instance, what kind of car do you own or plan to buy; or how
many hours do you spend on the Internet in an average week.

• Focus groups - While a survey of the questionnaire type generally
fetches $15-$50 (sometimes less and sometimes more depending on the
survey), the pay out is much higher for a slightly different form of online
survey known as the Focus Group.

You can get anywhere from $100 to $250 per session but each session
can go on for about an hour or more. Focus groups are the best paying
type of online surveys.

Focus Groups

Focus groups are typically carried out by market research firms on behalf of
companies rather than run by the companies themselves. Focus groups have
traditionally been face-to-face interactions of a small group of 5-6 individuals
who discuss a topic thrown open to them and give their opinion about an
issue or a product.

It works in a group interaction kind of situation where there is interplay of
thoughts and ideas. Focus groups are used by market research firms as a
form of qualitative research where the researcher does not look for statistical
data but is after insights and soft data on attitudes, motivations, and
perceptions.

It comes in useful for companies when they undertake new product
development or design their product positioning or advertising in a
competitive market place. It is a method used to understand the way
consumers think and behave.

This process has now gone online.

How do Online Focus Groups work?

The capabilities that software technology allows on the Internet have made online
focus groups possible. It works like video conferencing but without the audio-visual
component.

Let’s see how-

-Online Focus groups use the chat mode

-The chat mode allows research firm to create a mediated discussion
platform

-The participants who fit their profile criteria are recruited for a specific
focus group discussion.

-The participants sit at their personal computers at home and participate in
real time.

But, you have to be prepared to devote the necessary time and have an
uninterrupted Internet connection in place.

For more information on paid surveys, please visit:
http://CBHelper.net/PaidSurveyEtc

Tags - focus , groups , surveys

What do you get in return by taking online surveys? By Coara Andrei
It’s like Christmas time year round for those who participate in these surveys since the goodies keep coming in! As mentioned earlier, Companies today attach a great deal of importance to understanding the consumer and when they use online surveys as a non-intrusive way to get their answers, they are willing to pay for it in either cash or kind.

Even prizes or discounted products are useful and when you get something free or at a discount you save money that you would otherwise have spent on that item. As we all know, money saved is money earned. Especially during times when there is an economic slow down and job creation is slow, any opportunity that brings in some additional money gives a person a breather.

The incentive is something that varies across companies and websites. Online surveys have been around for a while now and a few patterns have emerged. They usually have a reward system designed to create excitement and enthusiasm among potential candidates.

Incentives

Cash and prizes are most common form of incentive you see on the net. But there are several variations and other forms of reward that are also used to entice people to participate in online surveys.

Given next is a run down on the kind of enticers that are used to get people of all walks of life to come on board and participate in the surveys. These are the incentives offered by online researchers to get people to answer their opinion polls or consumer insights surveys

The list of ‘enticers’:

1. Money for every survey you qualify for and complete

2. Entry into a draw/sweepstakes- for cash or prizes

3. Cash and Free products - Product trials/free samples

4. Coupons/electronic coupons

5. One-stop listing sites

6. Joining incentive

7. Discounts

8. Free movie tickets

9. Gift certificates

10. Earning points

Each of these enticers has a particular attractiveness for people. Let’s look at each
of these in turn -

1. Money for every survey you qualify for and complete

Some extra money is always welcome and comes in useful for various things in a home-

– If you are a homemaker it supplements your household income by contributing towards monthly expenses and bills

– If you are a student, you can make money in this new way, while most of your predecessors may have washed dishes in a local restaurant to make some extra cash!

– If you are a senior citizen, the amount of money you take out of your savings for your expenses can be reduced. There’s a little more to stash away for any genuine expenses that may come up.

As a pensioner, it gives you something interesting to do with your time as well. Opinion polls are especially pertinent given the experience and knowledge (about the economy, social issues,
health or global concerns) built up over the years.

– If you are a young executive, you have a little more money on hand to spend on your dates.

– If you are a young mom, an easy way to supplement your income in the comfort of your home can go a long way with the expenses that come with babies

– If you have credit card debt that you’ve consolidated and have to pay off every month, then it’s certainly additional funds towards that payment

Well, extra money is always useful no matter what you do, what kind of occupation or stage of life you happen to be in. It can certainly supplement your income and is a bonus that everyone finds use for from time to time.

If you belong to a middle-income group (where a bulk of American homes are concentrated), then even a $100 extra in a month does make a difference and can contribute in part to a week’s grocery bill. Quoting from realsimple.com- ‘The estimated average weekly grocery bill for an American household is $90, according to the Food Marketing Institute, a food retailer and wholesaler trade association in Washington, D.C.’

If you are serious about using paid surveys to advantage then you can certainly make a few hundred dollars every month and that’s something that’s achievable by the average person.

It’s well within your reach provided you visit the right websites.

Here’s what a ‘work at home’ mom said in an article that she wrote published online on March 14, 2005 .

‘I currently am making an average of $100 to $200 per month, not including any prizes won’

Read this full article in Chapter II where we address the issue of how to go about process of online surveys

Filling in online surveys is a lot of fun as well and takes your mind off your worries or stress. Some surveys are pretty light – You could be asked about the type of audio systems you own or your vacation plan for the season. You get to do something enjoyable in your spare time and you get something in return.

2. Entry into a draw/sweepstakes- for cash or prizes

There are several types of products that make their way to the sweepstakes or drawings and various ways in which you can get entered into drawings.

So, lets’ study the types of sweepstake prizes and then look at the ways in which you can get entry into the sweepstakes

Sweepstake prizes:

– You can win school supplies, baby products, cosmetics, and even
cash

– Cash incentives are also offered if you successfully complete the
survey. Your name will be entered into a drawing.

– There are drawings where the gifts are high value items such as
DVD players or even cars.

For instance, this is what the ad of Internet Survey Panel

The Internet Survey Panel gives members entries into drawings for a wide variety of prizes when they take surveys online. Prizes include cash, cars, gift certificates, electronics and more. $100©s of $1000©s in prizes are awarded each year.

If you want to visit the Internet Survey Panel website go ahead but I recommend that you that after you finished reading this e-book.

Don’t worry about loosing the link because in order to save you valuable time I compiled o list of the best free surveys companies and surveys databases that you can join with confidence , at the end of this e-book.

Sweepstake entry:

Some surveys don’t pay cash or give prizes to all their participants but have drawings in which all participants are entered. They reward only a set number of participants for each survey. This apart, it is actually fairly easy to gain entry into sweepstakes and by and large if you look around, you will find that this is an incentive that is readily offered for just about anything!

a) Even if you complete a screening questionnaire (a short questionnaire designed to identify those who are suitable for a particular survey issue or topic), your name will be entered into a drawing where cash is awarded at some surveys.

So, you are entered into the drawings just for filling in the preliminary questionnaire and you could potentially win cash! That’s irrespective of whether you qualify for the survey or not.

b) At times, as a member at the site you are entered into sweepstakes as a kind of consolation prize when you don’t qualify for a survey!

To cite an example, members at gozing.com receive this message. It’s incorporated in the email invitation -
NEW INCREASED SWEEPSTAKES CHANCES!

If you don©t qualify for this survey, you©ll be entered into our $5,000 USD Sweepstakes.
100 members will be randomly chosen to receive a $50 USD reward!

c) At times, when you become a member at a website or join the survey panel of a market research firm, you are entered into the sweepstakes So, the sweepstakes are basically a kind of carrot that is dangled to keep the interest level of visitors and members going.

But it goes without saying that winning in the sweepstakes or drawings is a matter of chance and anyone who knows anything about ‘probabilities’ knows that you cannot hope to win every time. But it’s a gesture on the part of the survey to motivate people to do their questionnaires and it works to an extent.

But the best-paid surveys are the ones where cash is a definite thing if you are a qualified respondent who completes the survey. Sweepstakes are merely a supplemental form of earning money from online surveys. Your main stay has to be the paid surveys, free products, discounts or free coupons.

3. Cash and Free products -Product trials and free samples

Paid online surveys are conducted by market research firms for companies that sell household products or personal products. You will be sent free samples of detergent, soaps, cosmetics; perfume or fabric softener and you do a kind of in-home product testing and then give your opinion online by answering their questionnaire.

You get to keep the products and the company gets your valuable feedback on your likes and dislikes regarding their product and based on the opinions of several respondents like you in their sample they get a feel for whether the product will work or not in the market place or if they need to fine tune it in some way. They will also pay you for your feedback and you get to try the
free items as well

4. Coupons/ electronic coupons

You are enticed to fill out an online survey in return for coupons.

Some surveys give you electronic coupon that can be redeemed at amazon.com or some such online shopping mall. Discount coupons are a worthwhile prize too because they save you money.

5. One-stop listing sites

Pay the company an initial subscription fee to get access to their extensive list of online surveys that will in turn pay you for taking their surveys.

The web site where you become a member brings you several opportunities at one venue - their website. You don’t have to search through innumerable sites. Besides, there are tips, FAQs and a lot of advice thrown in to help you maximize your returns from the online survey phenomenon.

For instance, SurveyScout

is a website where members can access hundreds of surveys. They will also guide you on how to pick out the best from the list in terms of ‘Best money making opportunities’ that are highly recommended by them.

You will have access to their online resources, freebies offers and other special offers that a casual visitor to the website cannot access because these are meant for their members only.

Most such one-stop websites also have a ‘bonus’ section, which is a private area accessible only to members. In this section, they have an additional compilation of a few more routes to getting paid online besides answering surveys. Basically, members are shown many avenues to make money.

The lists at such sites also tell you the kind of incentive you can expect from a particular survey- cash, prizes, merchandise, discount coupons, etc. And, they constantly add on new sites to their site.

So, these subscription sites do work hard for the money you pay them. You do benefit when you have another party do the search for you and give you a ready-to-use database of offers and surveys to access.

Since the lists also provide information on the type of incentive or reward that you can expect, you can easily do a cross-comparison before you narrow down your search.

By and large the subscription fee can be easily recovered well within a month if you pursue online surveys with single-mindedness. But please do explore sites where you can also get lists without having to pay subscriptions. If the list does not get you adequate returns only then should you explore the paid one-stop sites.

The reason why a firm recommendation cannot be given here on which free or paid one-stop listing sites work best is because the lucrative-ness or returns also depend on an individual’s profile.

While one person may find adequate number of surveys in the listings of a particular site, another may find the same list unproductive not only for his or her profile but also for the monthly cash targets one hopes to achieve.

6. Joining incentive:

The joining incentive goes something like the examples given below –

When you complete our Membership survey we will automatically enter you into our sweepstakes for $500.

As a new member on our online panel, you will be entered into our monthly draw where 10 members get picked for a check for $50 each.

Get cash and product incentives when you take our paid surveys online. New members will be entered into a draw where you can win a $500 shopping spree for joining us.

7. Discounts

This is pretty straightforward. You are given discounts on merchandise in return for your opinion.

8. Movie tickets

You usually get movie tickets for taking entertainment-based surveys regarding your opinion on TV shows or for rating Hollywood movies.

9. Gift certificates

Gift certificates are at times given for paid surveys. Instead of paying into your paypal account you will be given buy.com gift certificates, which can be used for online purchases.

10. Earning points

Companies looking to create a database of users and potential buyers of their products usually use this form of incentive. You accumulate points, which can be used when you purchase the company’s products.

For instance Sony has such a scheme for their products for members who fill in an online information form. Here’s a small piece from Sony’s America website-

‘Get ready to get the inside information you want on the world of Sony. Just complete the following information. We©ll send you the My Sony™ e-newsletter — and you©ll be on your way to earning points toward great Sony rewards. In appreciation of your joining we are giving you 1000 My Sony bonus points.’

These points can be redeemed against products at Sony’s Rewards
Central where special offers and discounts are given on the list price.

For more information on paid surveys, please visit:
http://CBHelper.net/PaidSurveyEtc

Tags - benefit , free , paid , survey
How do companies benefit from online surveys? By Coara Andrei

You are usually invited to take this survey based on the demographic information you provide when you register. You become a panelist who is accessed whenever a survey that requires your profile comes up. When you respond to a survey and fill in the questionnaire, then you become a ‘respondent’.

In market research terminology a respondent is a person who participates in the survey process and from whom information is sought in order to fulfill the objectives of a research project.

The company rarely uses your answers in isolation or individually. The answers of several respondents who correspond to a similar profile as you will be put together and analyzed to see if any patterns emerge from the analysis in terms of consumer behavior, buying patterns or opinions.

This analysis is thereafter used within the company by the management to make decisions on their marketing program, product features or the pricing of their products. The information that you provide is genuinely valuable for the company.

When companies tell you that your opinion counts you can be rest assured that it's not sales spiel. They really mean it. They are not trying to get you do something to take advantage of you. You opinion actually does count.

The companies are just trying to get to know you better. Each person that they get a response from represents hundreds of other people out there who are consumers of products and services just like you are.

They use the information that they gather to help them in many different ways-

         – To design better products,
         – To create better sales and marketing programs,
         – To fine tune their pricing strategies,
         – To create better advertising campaigns and so on

Your views are vital for them to perform better and meet your needs.

Buying patterns are also important. How often do you buy a particular product, or do you plan to upgrade your TV, and so on.

Sometimes the online surveys ask you about your leisure interests. Lifestyle and behavior are another area that is important to companies –the number of hours that spend on watching TV or listening to the radio, how often you eat out, whether you go on an annual holiday, how much do you spend on leisure pursuits, etc. When they know how you spend your time, they can find better ways to reach out to you with their ad message.

And to get this all this information out of you they are willing to pay, give discounts or give you some other acceptable form of incentives.

For more information on paid surveys, please visit:
http://CBHelper.net/PaidSurveyEtc

Tags - benefit , paidsurvey , freepaidsurvey , free , paid , survey

How is all this relevant to online surveys? By Coara Andrei

The consumer out there is also an active user of Internet and email services and online surveys are a relatively new way to reach out this consumer to get their views and understand them better.

At the end of the day, if a better understanding of the consumer enables better products and better sales, it also means better profits for the company. And, that’s why your views are so very important to the companies that create online surveys and they are willing to offer you a tangible compensation in return.

Your time is precious just as everyone else’s is. But with the Internet available, the companies are able to find a way into your home without overtly disturbing you. They ask their questions online and you answer when you have the spare time. It’s really an ingenious way to collect research information!

        You decide

One of the unique features of online surveys is its non-intrusive nature.

It’s non-intrusive because you decide if you want to participate at all and you are the one who decides when and where to access the survey. You don’t have an interviewer chasing you! So, it’s non-intrusive. And you get an incentive to boot in the form of cash or free products.
Your time is your own and it is not dictated by an interviewer sitting there and reeling off questions when you’d much rather be somewhere else attending to some other pressing things.

For more information on paid surveys, please visit:
http://CBHelper.net/PaidSurveyEtc

Tags - relevant , freepaidsurvey , free , paid , survey , research

Introduction to online surveys By Coara Andrei
You first become aware of online surveys, when you notice a tantalizing ad on some web page that you are visiting, or when you search for home based jobs. The messages regarding online surveys are usually highly intriguing and read something like this:

‘How to make money online in your spare time’

   ‘Get paid for your views’
‘Make hundreds of dollars working from the comfort of your home’

  ‘Get Paid fory our Opinion’

You are curious and you click through and there you are taken into a whole new world of promises and assurances of quick money. Some of them actually work; some of them leave you frustrated. But all in all, getting free stuff or getting paid to take online surveys is not a hoax. It does work and there are many who have benefited by this interesting phenomenon thrown up by the advent of the Internet.

There is no fixed norm in terms of pay out to participants but usually it is in the range of $1-$50 depending on the survey and the information sought. Several companies now use this mode of research including many Fortune 500 companies. These are consumer-oriented companies that pride themselves on understanding the pulse of the market place. The new age thinking brought in by marketing guru Philip Kotler in the last few decades has created a consumer oriented culture among manufacturers of consumer products and in the services industry as well.

‘The customer is king’ is a phrase used to loosely mean that you, as the consumer, have the right to choose or reject a company’s products based on your likes and dislikes. The companies have to work hard to create products and services that meet your needs and more than satisfy your expectations.

Growing competition and the availability of choice further necessitates this consumer culture. If a company has a good understanding of the consumer, then they have an edge in the market place. If a company’s competitors have a better understanding of the consumer, then they have an edge in the market place. It’s as simple as that.

For more information on paid surveys, please visit:
http://CBHelper.net/PaidSurveyEtc

Tags - cash , survey , free , paid , introduction

	Taking Free Paid Surveys Online

Free Paid Surveys, Get Paid To Take Surveys, Take Online Surveys for CASH!

Maybe you have seen tons of ads like these all over the internet. And most people like you are probably wondering if they are true. Can I really get paid to take surveys online? Or is paid surveys just another scam? The answer is, you can actually get paid to take surveys online.

There are lots of companies that will pay you to participate in online surveys, focus groups, and even product tests. These are market research companies that are paid by large companies to find out what the public feels about their products. They want to know if their advertising campaigns are working and how everyday people feel about their products. Large corporations spend billions of dollars a year on advertising. So to pay you a few dollars to find out if their advertising is working is not that big of a deal. So they hire these market research companies. And the market research companies send out paid surveys to everyday people to find out what the public is thinking.

There are also several misconceptions about taking paid surveys online. Many advertisements will tell you that you can make up to $150 an hour taking paid surveys. Although it is possible to be compensated $150 for participating in an important study or focus group, the average paid survey will pay you between $6 and $20.

There are also a few different kinds of paid survey sites. There are just paid survey directories, or databases, and there are the actual paid survey companies. A paid survey, or market research company, is the actual company that will send you the paid surveys. And also the one that will compensate you for your participation. An example of a paid survey company is Nielsen NetRatings. Nielsen NetRatings is one of the major paid survey companies on the internet and they employs nearly 41,000 people and had total revenues of EUR 3.5 billion in 2005. When joining a paid survey site like Nielsen NetRatings you are notified by email when your participation in a paid survey is needed. You can then choose to take the paid survey or simply ignore it. You are told how much you will be paid for taking each survey and how long the paid survey should take to complete. Companies like Nielsen NetRatings are always free to join. A legitimate paid survey company will never ask you to pay a fee to join.

Another type of site is a paid survey directory, or database. Paid survey databases provide directories of paid survey companies. These are the sites you go to to find companies that will pay you to participate in online surveys. There are several databases you can join. But most online paid survey databases are not free. A site like SurveyScout charges about $35 for their directory of 490 paid survey companies. Others charge anywhere from $20 to $50 to access their paid surveys directory. A membership site like SurveyScout does not actually send paid surveys. They are only a directory of companies that you join that send paid surveys online.

If you are looking for a full-time income online, paid surveys may not be the thing for you. Although you can make some good money taking paid surveys online, more than likely it will not be enough to make you rich. On the other hand, if you want to make some extra money without much effort then paid surveys is the way to go.

The key to getting paid to take surveys online is joining as many of these paid survey companies as possible. Most paid survey sites will only send a few paid surveys a month.

So the logic is, the more paid survey companies you join the more paid survey invitations you will receive. And so, the more money you will make. It's a good idea to start off with around 10 to 20 good paid survey companies. Each one will only take a few minutes to sign up for and is well worth it. There are around 200 paid survey companies here you can join. And once you have joined the main ones you can go back and join others to receive even more paid surveys. Of 200 paid survey companies I would have to say that there are about 30 that will send you paid surveys on a regular basis. The rest may only send once a month or even less. So starting with the top paid surveys is obviously the best way to go.

You must answer a few questions before taking a survey to see if you fit the profile for the type of person the company is interested in. After taking these questions you can see how you should answer to make yourself qualify. For instance, most paid survey will ask you if you work in a certain industry, or any type of market research or advertising business. The answer to a question like this should almost always be no. They do not want people who know the market research business taking their surveys. And you will almost always not qualify for the paid survey.

Now that you have all the information you need it's up to you to decide if paid surveys is for you or not. You can check out here:http://money-vip.com/free-paid-surveys.htm
and http://money-vip.com/international-free-paid-surveys.htm for the paid survey sites that I recommend.

For more information on paid surveys, please visit:
http://CBHelper.net/PaidSurveyEtc

Tags - paidsurvey , freepaidsurvey , free , paid , survey , research , surveyscout , nielsen , netratings , cash
